| | | Joanne C. Freeze, P.Geo. Position: President, CEO, Director
Joanne (Joey) C. Freeze is President, CEO and co-founder of Candente Resource Corp. Since entering the mineral exploration business in 1979, Ms. Freeze has managed exploration programs and evaluated projects for both junior and major international mining companies such as Queenstake Resources Ltd., Arequipa Resources Ltd., Mountain Province Mining Inc., Placer Dome Inc., Dia Met Minerals Corp., Hughes/ Lang Group and Utah Mines Ltd. (BHP).
Ms. Freeze lived and worked in Peru from 1994 to 1997 where she carried out both project generation work and property evaluations for Canadian and Peruvian companies. As a result of her experience in Peru, a partnership was formed with Fredy Huanqui, and a new mineral exploration company was born. Candente Resource Corp. was established in 1997, which operated privately until going public on May 15, 2000.
Ms. Freeze obtained a B.A. in Geography from the University of Western Ontario in 1978 and a B.Sc. in Geology from the University of British Columbia in 1981. She is a Fellow Member of the Geological Association of Canada and is registered with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada.

| | | W. John DeCooman, Jr. Position: Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development
Mr. DeCooman has 10 years of mining finance and advisory-related experience while at Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and Standard Bank Plc. Prior to his recent banking experience, he worked in business development and exploration at Echo Bay Mines from 1995 to 1997. Mr. DeCooman has a Bachelor of Science, Mineral Economics from the Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science, Mineral Economics from the Colorado School of Mines.

| | | Thomas R. Rinaldi Position: Vice President, Operations
Mr. Rinaldi has had 23 years of both open pit and underground mining experience since acquiring his B.Sc. in Mining Engineering in 1983 at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He has 11 years of experience in heap leaching of both gold and copper.
Mr. Rinaldi has managed mining projects through all stages including internal resource and reserve evaluation programs, optimization of Starter Pits, environmental impact assessment studies, feasibility studies, leach and metallurgical testing, permitting, detailed engineering including design of pits, leach pads, ponds, tailings impoundments, dumps and access roads as well as mine construction and mine management. His positions have included production foreman, senior mine engineer, chief mine engineer, technical superintendent and over 7 years as manager/general manager.

| | | Peter de Visser Position: Chief Financial Officer
Mr. de Visser has been the principal of Vancouver-based de Visser, Gray and Company, Chartered Accountants since 1987. He acts as financial advisor to several public companies and has been a director of junior mining companies since 1992. In addition, Mr. de Visser is a member of the Technical Subcommittee of the B.C. Institute of Chartered Accountants to the B.C. Securities Commission.

| | | Lola Montagne Position: Corporate Secretary
Lola joined Candente as Executive Assistant when the Company made the transition from a private corporation to a public company in May of 2000. She has been the Corporate Secretary, Treasurer and Officer of the Company since July 2002. Prior to joining Candente, she held the position of Executive Assistant with Manhattan Minerals Corp. from 1994 until 1998. Lola was born and educated in Peru; her fluency in both the language and business culture of the region has been an asset to the Company.
